Wrecking Ball (Miley Cyrus Cover) by Remember Summer | B2TW Music Community

About: Remember Summer is a unique musical collaboration between Paddy Conn (Swimming Tapes) and English singer Angelina Dove.
Their mutual love for the past is evident in their music, which is a captivating blend of synths and poetry, creating a dream pop sound that is steeped in nostalgia.
Their songs transport you to a poignant dream state of long-lost summer nights.
"Summer of '16 became the year of collaboration for Paddy and I. We started swapping ideas at work. It all started as a bit of fun, really, sort of a distraction to stem boredom, but when the cafe went bust the following year and we both got fired, we realized that we'd started something we missed more than frying eggs. Since we live 5 minutes away from each other, we've kept it up. This is 'Remember Summer'".
Remember Summer's folk-infused rendition of Miley Cyrus's hit "Wrecking Ball" was released on June 7th.
"Metaphorically spot on; I think I'm an 'exploding doormat' personality type. A really long fuse, but once it's lit…Wrecking Ball resonated with me, I feel like I've been there. The explosions, the disappointment, indifference even."
Feedback: This nostalgic and mysterious cover is an excellent spin of this Miley Cyrus song, relevant to fans of late 80's rocktronic musicians.
I enjoy the vocals the most; their unique touch gives the song a different twist on a relatively happy song.
The 80's nostalgia doesn't stop at the meticulous and simplistic guitar riff that sends vibes down your spine; it also weaves its way into the bass and drum grooves.
Overall, this song is excellent for fans of The Police and other 80s musicians.
Yours Sincerely by The Bedside Morale | B2TW Music Community

About: The Bedside Morale, a Bristol indie-rock four-piece is made up of Tim Kazer (vocals), Charlie Dowzell (guitar), Kynan Scott (bass), and Aden Dennis (drums).
The band has been around since 2014, and different forms of musical and self-expression have been explored over the years.
Bonding over their shared love of all kinds of music, they naturally were brought to bring new elements into their writing.
Close to a decade of life experiences and musical adventures have resulted in the band's success having no limits.
Yours Sincerely: The Bedside Morale released their newest baby, Yours Sincerely, on all platforms on July 12th.
The track exudes an impossible amount of emotion from the opening note but masterfully takes something dark and turns it into something breathtaking.
Ahead of the release of the EP Still Life, this is their third single off the late July 2024 EP.
The single and EP are an excellent addition for Arctic Monkeys and XTC fans.
"I could say the words and tell people what happened but in some way I was pretending that wasn't me. But that's not what felt right for this song. I wanted the song to be in conversation with that person, a chance, albeit not face to face, to say all the things I never knew enough to. So I had to force myself to really feel it." -Tim Kazer
Feedback: Eerily and raw, this song automatically sends emotions through you with an innocent voice asking for forgiveness from their past.
This song is a unique final touch before their EP; it sways your hips while you cry and makes you feel things other songs don't.
While the lyrics are impeccable, the instruments slap you in the face, but at times, it can be a tad too harsh of a slap.
That said, this is one of the songs I would love to hear done acoustically.
This song would be ideal for fans of the Manchester Orchestra and Mumford and Sons.

If Tomorrow Never Happens by Nikademis, SLANDER, & Poo Bear | B2TW Music Community

Nikademis: Denver-based 25-year-old Nick Liuzzu (AKA Nikademis) is a rising star in the EDM music arena, raising eyebrows and gaining recognition from several artists on the big stage.
His most notable tracks are "I Don't Wanna Know" with Friendzone and Candace Sosa, "Talking to Ghosts" with We Are Fury and SOUNDR, and his official remix of "U & Me" by Illenium.
He recently released another Illenium official remix of "Worst Day" with MAX.
His music has received support from musicians like Illenium, Dabin, William Black, Blanke, and others for his impeccable dark, mysterious soundscapes and contrastingly empowering melodies and vocals.
One of his highest praises has come from the 2023 Dancing Astronaut Artist-to-Watch.
If Tomorrow Never Happens: On July 12th, NIKADEMIS released a massive collaborative song, "If Tomorrow Never Happens," with SLANDER and Poo Bear.
Grammy-nominated and platinum record-selling music producer SLANDER, known for emotional anthems like "Love is Gone" (featuring Dylan Matthew), has teamed up with Grammy-winning songwriter Poo Bear, known for his collaborative song "Would You Ever" with Skrillex.
"I wrote this song with intent of creating an anthem for party and festival goers to be able to celebrate like tomorrow isn't gonna happen!!! We never know when our time is up in life and for this reason we have to live like tomorrow might not happen." -Poo Bear
Feedback: All right, folks, if you have not heard of these guys, please leave the rock you live under. Though, how do you even criticize this kind of masterpiece?
Finally, the time I have been waiting for SLANDER and Nikademis to come together comes.
Now, Illenium, it's your turn.
Poo Bear's voice is impeccable and critical to make this song slap harder than ever.
I am so into his voice; it's one of the best in the industry.
This song is for you if you're an Illenium, Said The Sky, or just an EDM nerd.
